What would you have done if you hadn't become a lawyer? Managed Coventry City football team.
Which law could you live without? The Income and Corporation Taxes Act.
What was your most embarrassing professional moment?
When a tribunal chairman asked to see my diary as I had confused a hearing date!
What car do you drive? Peugeot 405 Estate GTX.
Which famous person would you like to go out with? Daniel Barenboim or Fanny Waterman.
Where would you go to eat? My client's restaurants, The Atrium, Drones and Dell 'Ugo.
What's the best thing on TV? Blind Date.
Which movie do you wish you'd appeared in? Gone With the Wind.
What's your most often-worn piece of clothing? A T-shirt that says "Football is Life"!
What book(s) are you reading at the moment? Samuel Pepys' Diaries, and How Was It For You? by Maureen Lipman.
What is your all-time favourite record? Mozart's Sonata in C Major and Dusty Springfield's You Don't Have to Say You Love Me.
What piece of advice would you give to anyone entering the profession now? Always read The Lawyer magazine.
What do you like about yourself? My modesty.
What do you hate about yourself? My humility.
